Job summary

Tyson Foods, Inc. is hiring for General Maintenance positions on 1st shift in the United States (Oklahoma).

The role keeps production machinery running, requires setting up, adjusting, and breaking down equipment, and learning Tyson SAP to create work orders and complete daily documentation. Per the job description, applicants should have at least 1 year of industrial maintenance experience or relevant certifications, be able to lift 70 lbs, work 12-hour days, and thrive in a safety-focused team

Qualifications

• Experience/history: a minimum of 1-year Industrial related maintenance experience (listed in the application) and/or technical certifications and working knowledge of electricity, power transmissions, plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, cutting, and the use of shop tools.
• Applicants must be able to work with others to adhere to Tyson's safety culture.

Responsibilities

• Keep machinery running to maintain continuous production.
• Set up, adjust, and break down production line machinery.

• Must be able to use math as needed for machinery, fluid capacities, etc.
