Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment across the plant while upholding Tyson policies and safety standards.

The role involves performing preventive maintenance, minimizing downtime, and supporting production teams to resolve equipment issues during shifts. A LOTO certification and at least 1 year of mechanical experience or a maintenance training program are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year mechanical work experience or graduate of an industrial maintenance program.
• Lock Out Tag Out certification required.
• Basic math skills including percentages, fractions, and measurements.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance repairs.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic plant equipment.
• Minimize downtime due to equipment failure.
• Support production in addressing equipment problems during shift.
• Record keeping and attention to detail.
