Job summary

Cobb is hiring for a 1st Shift Sanitation Class 1 at the Wadesboro Hatchery in North Carolina. The role focuses on cleaning, sanitizing and monitoring hatchery equipment and temperatures to support egg to chick operations.

Starting pay is $17.00 per hour with additional shifts differential for evenings, nights, and weekends. Full-time benefits start on day one and include health, vision, dental, 401(k) options and more.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 12 months of consecutive work history with one employer and no gaps over 6 months in the past 36 months.
• Applicants must be available for in person interview.
• Applicants must reside in the United States to be considered for an in–person interview.

Responsibilities

• Operate high pressure and regular water hoses to clean and sanitize the chick room.
• Monitor and record temperatures in hatchers and setters.
• Follow fogging schedule and maintain order in the work area.
• Wash and pad empty chick boxes and prepare offal areas as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
