Cobb in Siloam Springs, AR is hiring for a poultry processing role on the 3rd shift. You will pull and prepare chicks for processing, wash and disinfect the pull room, and perform related duties in a biosecure environment.

Expect long hours standing, lifting, and following strict safety and biosecurity rules. Starting wage is $18.00 per hour with an additional shift differential for evenings, nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Six consecutive months of work with the same employer and no gaps >6 months in the last 36 months.
• Applicants must reside in the United States to be considered for an interview.
• This position pulls and prepares chicks for processing; requires cleanliness and adherence to biosecurity and safety rules.
• Biosecurity/animal welfare guidelines must be followed; showering and protective gear are required.
• 3rd shift; Saturdays, Sundays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays nights; 6pm to ~6am.

Responsibilities

• Pulling chicks from hatchery baskets and loading onto belts.
• Transfer and count chicks; place into chick boxes and manage baskets.
• Clean and disinfect pull room and related equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned; operate related processing equipment.
• Follow safety policies and wear required PPE.
