Qualifications

• Must have at least 12 months of consecutive work history with one employer and no gaps in employment greater than 6 months in the past 36 months.

Responsibilities

• Stores eggs by collecting from houses in laying areas and delivers to hatchery; grades eggs by shell color and quality to identify substandard eggs.
• Loads eggs on trucks and assists with transport to off-site hatchery as needed.
• Monitors hatchery environment hourly for proper temperature and humidity and reports issues.
• Maintains sanitary conditions by washing, disinfecting, and cleaning equipment and facilities daily.
• Performs additional duties as assigned; may include alternate Hatchery Processing duties and vehicle maintenance.
