Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Harness Technician for an aerospace client on a 1st shift (9/80). You will fabricate harnesses for spacecraft and ground systems, build and terminate wiring harnesses, and read schematics to ensure quality.

The role requires hand tools use, adherence to J-STD-001 and NASA standards, and the ability to obtain U.S. security clearance. Pay ranges from $29.42 to $47.09 per hour, with equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ year of experience as a technician in aerospace or equivalent industry and/or Trade School training.
• Experience using hand tools, repairing and troubleshooting electronic components.
• This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
• Experience working in 100,000 Class cleanrooms with ESD sensitive components.

Responsibilities

• Read schematics, harness wiring diagrams, layout drawings, mechanical drawings, circuit layouts, and parts lists.
• Ensure product quality and conformance to specifications.
• Use computer applications for work documentation.
• Document non-conformances and associated rework/repair.
