Job summary

Millennium Space Systems, a Boeing Defense, Space and Security unit, seeks an aerospace technician for wiring harness assembly per NASA standards. The role is primarily onsite with second shift, requiring at least 6 months of aerospace tech experience and the ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance.

You will use harness tools, test equipment, and perform verifications to ensure conformance to drawings and specs, while documenting non-conformances and handling rework as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months’ experience as a technician in aerospace or equivalent industry or trade school training.
• Experience using hand tools, repairing and troubleshooting electronic components.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance requiring U.S. Citizenship; interim/final clearance after start.

• Meet necessary certifications as required; perform incidental related duties.

Position Responsibilities

• Use harness‑related tools such as soldering irons, crimpers, hot tweezers, etc.
• Test wire harnesses with equipment such as high‑potential testers, multimeters, force gauges
• Assemble electrical ground support equipment
• Set up test equipment
• Assist in performing second‑party verifications and visually inspect harness assemblies to drawings, engineering specifications, and written procedures
• Ensure product quality and conformance to specifications
• Document non‑conformances and associated rework/repair
• Meet necessary certifications as required
• Perform incidental related duties as assigned or required

Job Requirements

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 6 months’ experience as a technician in aerospace or equivalent industry and/or trade school training
• Experience using hand tools, repairing and troubleshooting electronic components
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance requiring U.S. Citizenship; interim and/or final clearance post‑start required

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified MSS08014‑102‑SOP Rev B Harnessing Build Standard Practices and Inspection
• Experience working in 100,000‑class cleanrooms with ESD‑sensitive components

Shift & Location

This role is primarily second shift with potential additional shift requirements. The position is 100% onsite at one of the listed location options. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at any shift, as assigned.

• Must meet Export Control compliance requirements per 22 C.F.R. §120.15.
• “US Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
