Job summary

McClancy Foods & Flavors in Fort Mill, SC is seeking a Machine Operator to operate, monitor and maintain production equipment in a food manufacturing environment, ensuring efficiency and strict adherence to food safety and sanitation standards.

You will set up machines, calibrate for different products, perform inspections, record data, and collaborate with maintenance and quality teams while complying with GMP and HACCP guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or food production environment preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to operate industrial equipment.
• Ability to read and follow instructions, SOPs and safety guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Basic math and record-keeping skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor food processing and packaging machinery according to SOPs.
• Set up machines, including calibration and adjustments for different products.
• Ensure production lines meet efficiency, safety, and quality targets.
• Perform routine inspections to identify mechanical issues and report or resolve malfunctions.
• Maintain compliance with GMP and HACCP standards.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure product consistency and adherence to specifications.
• Keep accurate records of production data, machine performance, and downtime.
• Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas following company policies.
• Collaborate with maintenance and quality teams to address issues.
• Follow all workplace safety guidelines and wear PPE.
• All other duties as assigned.
