Position Summary:

The Machine Operator operates, monitors, and maintains production equipment in a food manufacturing environment. This role ensures efficient production while maintaining strict adherence to food safety, quality, and sanitation standards.

Description Of Duties:

• Operate and monitor food processing and packaging machinery according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Set up machines, including calibration, document completion, and adjustments for different products.
• Ensure production lines meet efficiency, safety, and quality targets.
• Perform routine inspections to identify mechanical issues and report or resolve minor malfunctions.
• Maintain compliance with food safety regulations, including GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and HACCP standards.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure product consistency and adherence to specifications.
• Keep accurate records of production data, machine performance, and downtime.
• Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas in accordance with company policies.
• Collaborate with maintenance and quality teams to address operational issues.
• Follow all workplace safety guidelines and wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
• All other duties as assigned

Essential Skills And Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or food production environment preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to operate industrial equipment.
• Ability to read and follow instructions, SOPs, and safety guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Basic math and record-keeping skills.

Preferred Skills And Experience:

• Experience with automated production lines or packaging equipment.
• Knowledge of food safety standards (GMP, HACCP, FDA regulations).
