Job summary

Eaton is hiring a Production Technician/Machine Operator for the 1st shift in Chandler, AZ. The role involves assembling panels, wiring, and testing components to meet quality standards, with a $21/hour base pay and eligibility for a variable incentive program.

You'll work 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, perform lean and 5S practices, and cross-train across departments to support production needs while maintaining safety and quality.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year in an assembly role with hand/power tools or completion of a 1-year technical school diploma.
• Must reside within 50 miles of the work location; relocation not offered.
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration or work authorization for this position.

Responsibilities

• Assemble panelboards and switchboards per drawings and work instructions with hand/power tools.
• Inspect and test finished products to ensure quality and conformance to specs.
• Wire components using stripping tools and pliers to complete wiring assemblies.
• Maintain progress and report part shortages or issues.
• Prepare finished products for shipment and participate in Lean/5S improvements.
