Job summary

Eaton Corporation in Windsor, CT is seeking a Production Technician (1st Shift) to assemble panelboards and switchboards. The role involves wiring, testing, and ensuring quality per electrical drawings and specifications.

The position runs 6:00am–2:30pm, Monday through Friday, with a $21.00 hourly rate and eligibility for a variable incentive. Benefits, overtime, and career growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in an assembly role with hand/power tools, or completion of a 1-year technical school diploma.
• Residence within 50 miles of the work location; no relocation benefit.
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration or related programs.

Responsibilities

• Assemble panelboards and/or switchboards to customer specifications using hand and power tools.
• Inspect and test finished products to ensure quality and compliance with specs.
• Wire electrical wiring per diagrams using stripping tools.
• Maintain progress and address shortages or issues in the area of assignment.
• Prepare finished products for shipment.
• Contribute to Lean initiatives and maintain 5S in the work area.
• Cross-train across functions as needed.
