Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. is seeking a Cold Forming Operator for the Montpelier, IN facility. You will operate cold forming machines, perform adjustments, and ensure quality parts while supporting material handling tasks.

The role requires high school diploma or GED, basic computer skills, and the ability to read micrometers and calipers. Overtime may be required; training and safety programs are provided to support performance and growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Basic computer skills to enter data and look up information.
• Ability to read measuring equipment such as micrometers and calipers.

Responsibilities

• Operate multiple cold forming and parts forming machines.
• Perform adjustments and replacements to maintain quality parts.
• Conduct catch pan quality checks and inspect dies and inserts.
• Move scrap and finished parts from machinery and operate forklift/PIV as needed.
• Assist with other duties assigned by supervisor.
