Hubbell Incorporated in Olive Branch, MS is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee 1st shift production processes and supervise hourly employees while driving continuous improvement in productivity and cost control.

The role emphasizes training, safety, and quality, with responsibilities spanning task assignment, performance management, and adherence to environmental, health, and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience operating and/or programming CNC Mills and Lathes.
• Basic understanding of blueprints, calipers, and typical machine shop procedures and tools.
• General computer skills and ability to work with Microsoft Office tools.
• Strong organizational skills and excellent written and oral communication.

Responsabilités

• Direct supervision of Machinists and Machine Operators in the assigned area.
• Assign daily tasks and activities for the machine shop.
• Ensure direct reports are trained and up-to-date in required processes.
• Maintain cross-training matrix and address gaps in training thresholds.
• Manage employee performance objectives and conduct reviews.
• Drive toward zero safety incidents and promote a safety-first culture.
• Aim to minimize quality issues in the assigned area.
• Actively manage environmental, health and safety compliance and risk.
• Identify and participate in continuous improvement activities in the Machine Shop.
