Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated in Shelton, CT is seeking a Production Supervisor for 3rd shift to lead a small team in daily operations, safety, quality and productivity. You will plan work, assign tasks, and coordinate with the 1st shift supervisor to ensure smooth handoffs and continuous improvement.

The role requires 5 years in a machine shop environment, mechanical aptitude, and knowledge of production scheduling. A High School Diploma or equivalent is required, with a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 5 years experience in a machine shop environment.
• Mechanical aptitude required.
• Knowledge of production scheduling.
• Decisions concerning resource and production requirements in manufacturing.
• Previously Supervisory experience a plus.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a 3rd shift team focused on safety, quality, service and productivity.
• Plan and assign work; coordinate with first shift supervisor.
• Enter attendance and timekeeping; ensure workforce is trained.
• Balance quality, productivity, cost, safety and morale to drive improvements.
• Resolve employee issues through coaching and problem solving.
• Provide process updates to Operations Management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
