Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated seeks skilled personnel to support CNC operation, setup, and programming, assisting operators in maintaining production efficiency. You will work with manufacturing engineering to troubleshoot issues, analyze processes, and implement improvements across work cells.

The role emphasizes safety, equipment knowledge, and collaboration with Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, and Quality teams to drive through-process improvements and validation efforts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of mold injection machines and processes.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and work long hours, including weekends.
• Background check and drug screen are required.

Responsibilities

• CNC operation, set-up, and programming background to assist operators and troubleshoot when setups are not producing good product.
• Follow safety guidelines and requirements.
• Develop understanding of processes and equipment to identify and solve issues through troubleshooting and data analysis.
• Support process validation projects with set-ups, engineering studies, and testing.
• Provide administrative support such as updating manufacturing documentation and tracking process performance.
• Support DMAIC, LEAN, 5S, cost reduction, and process improvement initiatives.
• Inspect jobs upon completion and ensure areas are clean; ensure equipment is in safe operating condition.
