Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Building Engineer to monitor, maintain, and repair building systems including plumbing, electrical, heating, and cooling. The role covers various shifts with overtime and on-call requirements based on team needs.

Responsibilities include executing preventive maintenance, keeping systems efficient, and ensuring compliance with applicable codes and safety standards while supporting a safe work environment for all staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience.
• Universal CFC certification is preferred.
• Certifications/licenses as may be required by local or state jurisdictions.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs to mechanical, plumbing, structural, and control systems.
• Comply with applicable codes, regulations, and safety directives.
• Maintain energy management and preventive maintenance programs.
• Assist with emergency repairs and safe storage of hazardous materials.
• Lead by example and share knowledge across team disciplines.
