Job summary

Daily tasks include responding to BAS alarms, managing CMMS work orders, monitoring SCADA data, and assisting Central Energy Plant operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three years of maintenance experience in large facilities.
• 1+ year experience with Building Automation Systems, HVAC, electrical preferred.
• Experience with CMMS and understanding information on CMMS screens.
• Experience in hospital or healthcare setting preferred.
• Knowledge of BAS software for HVAC, steam, and power distribution.

Responsibilities

• Operates building automation systems to monitor and control hospital environmental controls and safety systems.
• Performs initial troubleshooting and remediation of alarm conditions and documents actions.
• Collaborates with technicians, sub-contractors, and staff to resolve monitoring and control issues.
• Monitors and services BAS across a large hospital complex.
• Uses CMMS to receive and open work orders for Central Energy Plant needs.
• Supports Central Energy Plant Operations and on-call emergencies.
• Coordinates vendor support for repairs and equipment failures.
• Monitors medical air gas systems and performs daily plant walk-throughs.
