Job summary

Heidelberg Materials is seeking a safety‑minded Heavy Equipment Operator to safely operate Euclid stock trucks and support quarry production, transportation of aggregate materials, and daily yard movements in a fast‑paced outdoor environment.

You will perform pre‑shift inspections, report equipment issues, maintain proper haul routes and dumping procedures, and communicate with supervisors and fellow operators to coordinate daily activities while following all safety, environmental, and

What You'll Be Doing

• Operate Euclid stock trucks safely and efficiently to transport aggregate materials throughout the quarry.
• Perform pre-shift inspections and report equipment issues to support safe operations.
• Maintain proper haul routes and dumping procedures to optimize production flow.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and other equipment operators to coordinate daily activities.
• Follow all safety, environmental, and operational policies while achieving production goals.

Conditions of Employment

• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
• Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.

Work Environment

• Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
