Job summary

IdealHire Technologies, Inc. seeks a Travel First Assist CVOR Surgical Technician (CST) for a 13-week assignment in Las Vegas, NV. This role supports cardiothoracic procedures in a CVOR, including open-heart cases, CABG, valve repairs, and TAVR standby.

You must be a Certified Surgical Technologist with BLS, have at least 2 years CVOR experience, and be proficient in vein procurement using the Maquet Hemopro 2 system. Rotation includes weekend and after-hours on-call per unit guidelines.

Qualifications

• First Assist capability in CVOR settings
• 2+ years CVOR experience preferred
• Proven capability as First Assist in complex cases

Responsibilities

• Serve as First Assistant in CVOR procedures including open-heart surgeries
• Perform vein procurement using Maquet Hemopro 2
• Maintain 1:1 patient ratio in a 3-bed CVOR unit and float to Main OR as needed
• Participate in rotating weekend and after-hours on-call
