Job summary

LyondellBasell is seeking a Production Operator for the 12-hour night shift (7PM-7AM). You will monitor and operate plant equipment, perform troubleshooting, document operating parameters, and support maintenance activities. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and quality production in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include changeovers, packaging, material handling, and data recording. A high school diploma and 6 months of production experience are required, with SAP

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months in production or manufacturing; mechanical inclination preferred.
• Able to work overtime or weekends on short notice.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Pre-employment screening including: employment history verification, background check, physical and urine drug screening.
• Must read and interpret documents, write routine correspondence, and speak English to communicate with supervisors and team members.
• Basic mathematics and computer skills; SAP experience preferred.
• Follow written and verbal operating and LOTO procedures.
• Ability to multitask and work independently or in a team.
• Maintain excellent attendance habits.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor and troubleshoot equipment used during daily manufacturing.
• Perform changeovers and disassemble/assemble/clean machinery.
• Understand and execute daily production run schedules; resolve quality issues and report unresolved matters.
• Stage packaging area and handle materials up to 55 lbs; prepare for shipment.
• Operate forklift to move raw materials and finished products.
• Use hand tools to degate or deflash materials.
• Maintain clean work environment and organize tools.
• Record production data and perform QC tests.
• Perform equipment maintenance tasks (PMs, repairs).
