Job summary

LyondellBasell Industries in Evansville, IN is seeking a Production Operator to monitor and operate plant process equipment. You will evaluate unit status, troubleshoot processes and document operating parameters while coordinating with others and supporting maintenance activities.

Responsibilities include following production schedules, performing changeovers, and ensuring safety compliance. Shift options include 7 AM–7:15 PM or 7 PM–7:15 AM with a 2-on/2-off pattern and occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience in production or manufacturing preferred.
• Must be able to read and interpret documents and write routine correspondence.
• Basic mathematics and computer skills; SAP experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift 55 lbs and work in varied conditions.

Responsibilities

• Comply with safety requirements and participate in safety activities.
• Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot plant equipment during production.
• Perform changeovers, disassembly/assembly, and cleaning of machinery.
• Follow production run schedules and resolve quality issues.
• Stage packaging area and load materials up to 55 lbs.
• Operate forklift and use hand tools as needed for degating/deflashing.
• Maintain clean work area; follow LOTO procedures.
• Record production data and perform PM tasks where applicable.
