Job summary

Acti-Kare Responsive In-Home Care - Bellevue in Bothell seeks compassionate caregivers for day shifts. Compensation ranges from $21–$23 per hour with 12–20 hours weekly and potential for up to 40 hours depending on client needs.

Ideal candidates provide companionship, assist with mobility and daily activities, and support personal care while coordinating with families and healthcare professionals. WA certification and U.S. work authorization required.

Qualifications

• Active Washington State HCA or CNA, or in training program.
• Reliable transportation to and from assignments.
• Ability to pass criminal background checks and fingerprinting.
• U.S. work authorization required.
• Proficient reading/writing in English.
• Compassionate, dependable and good communication.
• Strong time-management skills and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with mobility and daily activities.
• Help with personal care, hygiene, and dressing.
• Prepare meals and light housekeeping.
• Accompany clients to appointments, walks, and outings.
• Report changes to the agency, medical professionals, and family.
• Respond appropriately in emergency situations.

Caregiver Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with mobility and daily activities
• Help with personal care, hygiene, and dressing
• Prepare meals and provide light housekeeping
• Accompany clients to appointments, walks, and outings
• Report changes or unusual incidents to the agency, medical professionals, and family
• Respond appropriately in emergency situations

Requirements

• Active Washington State HCA or CNA certification , or proof of completion/current enrollment in a training program
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to pass criminal background and fingerprint checks
• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions in English
• U.S. work authorization required
• Reliable, punctual, respectful, and compassionate
• Strong communication and time-management skills
• Physical ability to perform required caregiving duties

Generally expected hours: 12–20 per week, with opportunities for up to 40 hours depending on client needs and availability.
