Job summary

Insight Global seeks an on-site field service engineer to service semiconductor processing equipment. You will troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade systems while maintaining records and coordinating with customers to minimize downtime.

The role requires extensive travel, strong electrical/mechanical knowledge, and experience with robotics and lithography equipment. Training and updates ensure you stay current in the field.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience with maintenance, troubleshooting, or repairing equipment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Associates degree in Electronics or Engineering preferred; Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• Experience with semiconductor equipment, preferably lithography, is highly desirable.
• Military experience in related MOS could be beneficial.

Coordinates activities with peers, supervisor(s) and customers to minimize equipment downtime and interruptions. Orders and installs parts, respond to emergency service calls as required. Instructs customer operating technicians on system operation and maintenance. Perform upgrades and modifications to equipment as needed. Remain current on equipment/tools through appropriate training, manuals, factory periodicals, and other relevant materials. Incumbents are responsible for the upkeep, maintenance and security of company property including vehicles, tools, etc. CT experience huge plus.

• *2 years of experience with maintenance, troubleshooting, or repairing equipment
• *Strong knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical systems

• *Experience working with / troubleshooting robotic equipment
• *Experience supporting semiconductor equipment preferably lithography
• *Military experience in the following MOS':
