Job summary

Suffolk County Council is recruiting a 1:1 Teacher for the Alternative Tuition Service (ATS) to support pupils with diverse needs across the community. You may work with pupils 1:1 or in small groups, delivering blended learning via Microsoft Teams.

You will join a dedicated team of teachers focused on SEND and emotional health, creating a welcoming, flexible learning environment and collaborating with parents, carers, and Local Authority colleagues.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering 1:1 or group instruction.
• Ability to plan and deliver blended learning.
• Experience supporting pupils with special educational and emotional needs.

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 or in groups with pupils, sometimes at home, delivering blended learning via Teams.
• Collaborate with specialist teachers experienced in SEND.
• Model positive attitudes and establish a caring, safe learning environment.
