Job summary

Snoqualmie Valley School District seeks a Paraeducator III to provide 1:1 support in a Special Education self-contained setting under the supervision of a certificated teacher. The role emphasizes instructional support and behavior assistance for high-needs students.

Anticipated start date 10/13/26 with a schedule of 31 hours weekly, Monday-Thursday 7:45 a.m.–2:45 p.m. and Friday 7:45 a.m.–12:45 p.m., wage $27.36–$31.97 per hour under the 2026-27 PSE Salary Schedule.

Qualifications

• Must meet WA State Paraeducator requirements.
• Provide high school diploma or equivalent documents and official transcripts.
• Alternative qualifications include associate degree or higher, or 72 quarter credits/48 semester credits at 100 level+, or completed paraeducator apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional support in a Special Education self-contained setting under a certificated teacher.
• Assist with behavior and personal hygiene for high-needs students.
