Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or higher required or preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Passing of the Parapro Assessment examination.
• Prior experience working with children desirable.
• Educational Aide Permit issued by the State of Ohio must be obtainable.

Responsibilities

• Assist students in reading, language arts, mathematics and computer instruction.
• Work with students individually and in small groups to reinforce learning.
• Assist in administration and correction of classroom exercises, tests and assessments.
• Assist with classroom preparations and reinforcement of instructional materials.
• Assist with record-keeping of student learning and performance.
• Support classroom behavioral management to maintain a safe, productive environment.
• Assist with non-instructional duties such as lunch supervision, bus duty and field trips.
