Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 72 college level credits from an accredited institution, a college degree, or ability to pass ETS Assessment.
• Experience working with students in individual and small group settings.
• Working knowledge of education fundamentals; training with current curriculum preferred.
• Experience in a classroom setting and ability to manage tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Punctuality and consistent attendance, along with safety and supervision responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized 1:1 and small group support under the supervision of the case manager.
• Assist with behavioral and academic support to promote student engagement and independence.
• Collaborate with supervising teacher and staff to implement behavior plans and interventions.
• Maintain open communication with the case manager and document progress.
• Assist with personal care tasks as needed in a respectful and safe manner.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training related to assistive technologies and behavior management.
