Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; alternative qualifications per district policy may apply.
• Ability to perform basic math, read manuals, and follow multi-step instructions.
• Willingness to learn and use student information systems and documentation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Adapt classroom activities and materials for diverse special education students.
• Assist in evaluating progress and organizing individual student needs.
• Administer first aid and support medical needs as required.
• Support students with personal care needs to promote independence.
• Attend meetings and collaborate with teachers on IEP objectives.
