Casa Pacifica in Camarillo, CA, is seeking a Special Education 1:1 Aide to support instructional programs for students with emotional disabilities. This role emphasizes behavior management, tutorial instruction, and close collaboration with credentialed teachers.

You will implement individualized supports, adapt activities and collect progress data, contributing to a nurturing educational environment on a 8:00am-3:00pm, Monday-Friday schedule.

Competenze

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Related experience working with students with emotional disability preferred
• Associates Degree or above in relevant field preferred

Mansioni

• Implement direct instructional support to individual and/or groups of students, and attend classes with the student, as designated in the IEP.
• Adapt classroom activities, assignments and materials to provide an opportunity for all special education students to participate in general education classroom activities.
• Provide verbal and/or written feedback of student observations and student classroom support for assisting credentialed teacher in evaluating students.
• Collect data and maintain records on each student’s progress toward IEP goals
• Assist credentialed teacher with clerical functions such as correcting papers, creating lesson plans, making copies, helping with progress reports, adapting tests and assignments.
• Act as a cooperative team member in working with all Casa Pacifica staff, community, students and families.
