Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI), a division of FullBloom, seeks a paraprofessional/behavior aide to support a student under an IEP.

You will provide customized behavior support, daily living skills, and close collaboration with a multidisciplinary team in diverse educational settings. Responsibilities include implementing behavior support plans, tracking data, and ensuring safety through de-escalation techniques while maintaining a positive, inclusive classroom environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (required).
• Experience in an educational setting implementing behavioral interventions for students with intensive behavioral needs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work one on one with an assigned student to meet goals in their IEP.
• Assist in development and modification of behavior support plans.
• Implement behavior support plans and record data on behaviors, progress, and incidents.
• Utilize behavior support and intervention strategies.
• Implement de-escalation techniques and crisis management to maintain safety.
• Foster a positive, inclusive environment supporting social and behavioral skills.
• Supervise students and accompany them between locations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure consistent plan implementation.
• Provide personal care support as needed.
• Communicate effectively with parents.
