Job summary

SESI (Specialized Education Services, Inc.), a division of FullBloom, seeks a paraprofessional/behavior aide to support K-12 students with intensive behavioral needs. You will work one-on-one with assigned students, implementing IEP goals, behavior plans, and data collection to guide progress.

Join a multidisciplinary team delivering holistic support in in-district classrooms and standalone schools with strong emphasis on PBIS CASE, de-escalation, safety, and family collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience in an educational setting implementing behavioral interventions is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work one on one with an assigned student to meet goals in the IEP and provide accommodations.
• Assist in development and modification of behavior support plans.
• Implement behavior support plans and record data on behavior, progress and incidents.
• Utilize behavior support and intervention strategies.
• Apply de-escalation techniques, crisis management and safe restraint when necessary to ensure safety.
• Foster a positive, inclusive environment and support social and behavioral skill development.
• Supervise students and ensure safe transitions between locations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to implement plans consistently.
• Provide personal care support as needed based on student requirements.
• Communicate effectively with parents.
