Job summary

Casa Pacifica Centers For Children & Family in Camarillo, CA, seeks a Special Education 1:1 Aide to support instructional programs under the Dean of Students and Director of Education. You will assist with implementing the educational plan, behavior strategies, and progress toward IEP goals.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED; an Associates degree or higher is preferred. Bilingual abilities and a California driver’s license are a plus.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct instructional support to individual and/or groups of students.
• Adapt classroom activities to include all special education students in general education.
• Provide feedback on student observations and progress toward IEP goals.
• Assist credentialed teacher with lesson plans, progress reports, and assignments.
• Assist in managing student behavior using proactive strategies.
• Participate in agency-approved interventions with students as needed.
