Job summary

Amergis is hiring School-Based Behavior Technicians to support students in California classrooms for the 2026–2027 school year. The role provides 1:1 ABA support, BIP implementation under BCBA supervision, data collection, and development of communication and social-emotional skills.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and ABA experience; RBT certification is preferred. Opportunities for advancement, paid training, and a supportive leadership team are offered in the Lake Forest, Laguna

Qualifications

• Six-plus months of ABA experience required.
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
• Reliable transportation to school sites across Orange County.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 behavioral support to students during the school day.
• Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) under BCBA supervision.
• Collect and record data using ABA therapy procedures.
• Support students’ communication, social-emotional, and behavioral skill development.
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and clinical supervisors.
• Maintain professionalism and consistency across school environments.
