Job summary
Interim HealthCare seeks a compassionate RN to provide one-on-one nursing support for an elementary student in Rochester, NH. You will travel with the student on the morning bus and provide nursing care during the school day, including G-tube care and medications.
The role requires reliable, patient, and collaborative care with school staff. Hours are Monday–Friday, with minor variations per the school calendar and Friday early dismissal. Transportation support is part of the duties.
Qualifications
- Current NH Registered Nurse license is required.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience within the last five years.
- Pediatric/school nursing, G-tube, or complex-care experience preferred.
- Current CPR certification required.
- Reliable transportation and ability to meet schedule commitments.
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 nursing care throughout the school day.
- Assist with morning and afternoon school bus runs.
- Monitor health status and respond to medical needs.
- Provide G-tube care and administer feedings, meds, and treatments per orders.
- Assist with positioning, mobility, and transfers.
- Communicate concerns and document nursing care promptly.
- Support student participation in classroom activities and daily living.
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and healthcare providers.
