Job summary

Interim HealthCare is seeking a compassionate RN to provide 1:1 school-based nursing care for a student in the Dover School District. The role involves hands-on care, monitoring health, and ensuring safe participation in classroom activities.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of pediatric or school nursing experience, NH RN licensure, CPR certification, and reliable transportation. G-tube care and mobility support are required; buses runs are part of the role.

Qualifications

Current NH RN license.
Minimum 1 year pediatric or school nursing experience within last five years.
CPR certification required.
G-tube or complex-care experience preferred.
Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Provide 1:1 nursing care during the school day and bus run.
Monitor student health status and respond to medical needs.
Administer G-tube feedings, medications, and treatments per orders.
Assist with positioning, mobility, and transfers.
Monitor for changes in condition and communicate concerns promptly.
Support student communication, comfort, safety, and participation in class.
Collaborate with teachers, school staff, parents/guardians, and healthcare providers.
Maintain accurate nursing documentation.
