Job summary

Interim HealthCare is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide one-on-one nursing care to an elementary student in the Dover School District. This role focuses on hands-on care, safety, and helping the student participate fully in the school day.

The schedule is Monday–Friday with a modified afternoon option, and the ideal candidate will have NH RN licensure, CPR certification, and pediatric or school-nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Current NH RN license required.
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience in the last five years.
• Pediatric, school nursing, G-tube or complex-care experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, individualized 1:1 nursing care throughout the school day and during the bus run.
• Monitor health status and respond to medical needs promptly.
• Provide G-tube care, administer feedings, medications and treatments per orders.
• Assist with positioning, mobility, transfers and other physical care needs.
• Monitor for changes in condition and communicate concerns quickly.
• Support the student’s communication, safety, and participation in class and activities.
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, parents/guardians, and healthcare providers.
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation and follow policies.
