Job summary

Interim HealthCare is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide one-on-one nursing care for an elementary student in the Pittsfield, NH School District. This full-time role includes accompanying the student on morning and afternoon bus transportation, with a Monday–Friday daytime schedule.

You will monitor health status, administer medications per orders, and collaborate with school staff and healthcare providers to support the student’s health, safety, and academic success.

Qualifications

• Current NH RN license required.
• CPR certification required.
• Pediatric, school nursing, or home care experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care for a student during the school day and transportation.
• Accompany the student on morning and afternoon bus routes.
• Monitor and respond to changes in health status.
• Administer medications and interventions per physician orders.
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, therapists, and healthcare providers.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and communication.
• Foster a safe, supportive learning environment while promoting student independence.
