Job summary

Interim HealthCare is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to provide one-on-one nursing care for an elementary student in the Pittsfield, NH School District. This full-time role includes accompanying the student on morning and afternoon bus transportation to ensure health, safety, and academic participation.

The position offers a daytime schedule with no evenings or weekends, competitive pay, weekly payroll, and a locally owned office with responsive clinical support.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in NH.
• Minimum of one year of clinical nursing experience within the last five years.
• Pediatric, school nursing, or home care experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without restrictions.
• Reliable transportation.
• Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
• Compassionate, dependable, and patient-centered approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care for a student throughout the school day and during school transportation.
• Accompany the student on the morning and afternoon bus route, ensuring safety and medical needs are met.
• Monitor, assess, and respond to changes in the student’s health status.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to physician orders and care plan.
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, therapists, and healthcare providers to promote health, safety, and academic success.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and communication.
• Foster a safe, supportive, and positive learning environment while encouraging student independence.
