Job summary

Aspire Titan Academy in Huntington Park, CA is seeking a part-time Instructional Aide to support students with disabilities (IEPs) under the supervision of the Special Education teacher and other staff. The schedule is 29 hours per week, Mon-Thu 8:00am–2:30pm and Fri 8:00am–1:00pm, with Aspire’s remote work policy in effect and on-site work at the school site as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience working with students with IEPs or moderate-severe needs.
• Ability to implement IEPs and work under supervision.
• Ability to lift/move up to 30 pounds and adapt to classroom needs.

Responsibilities

• Support students with disabilities in the classroom.
• Assist teachers, SLP, and other staff as needed.
• Implement IEPs and provide 1:1 support when required.
• Create and adapt instructional materials for individual students.
• Collaborate with IEP team and school staff.
• Adhere to Aspire Public Schools policies and confidentiality standards.
