Job summary

Ombudsman Educational Services is seeking an Instructional Aide 1:1 for Grades K-12 to support individualized student learning in an alternative education setting.

You will collaborate with teachers, implement tailored instruction and behavior interventions, and monitor progress while maintaining confidentiality and contributing to accreditation processes. This role emphasizes growth, teamwork, and student empowerment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree or higher preferred in education or related field.
• Paraprofessional credential required or in process.
• Ability to obtain crisis management training certification.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with classroom teachers to support students in K-12.
• Implement individualized instruction and behavioral strategies.
• Monitor and instruct students during lessons with fidelity.
• Track student progress and communicate with teachers regularly.
• Support and mentor students facing academic challenges.
• Prepare behavioral reports and daily activity logs.
