Job summary

Arizona Autism Charter Schools, Inc. is seeking a Student 1:1 RBT at the Tucson Upper Campus to support a single student under supervision, implementing ABA-based strategies and individualized instruction in a classroom setting.

The role requires an active RBT certification, experience with non-verbal students, and the ability to collaborate with teachers and families. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., with comprehensive benefits and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• First aid/CPR certification required.
• Experience with Special Education and aggression de-escalation preferred.
• Experience with profoundly non-verbal students in classroom setting.
• Ability to communicate courteously with coworkers and parents.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgment.
• Structured teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist individual student with lessons and reinforce learning per IEP.
• Support learning materials and behavior plans within a classroom team.
• Execute lessons and support independent work or group projects.
• Help student participate in routines, transitions and self-care tasks.
• Implement Tier 1 behavioral supports as directed by ABA team.
• Accompany student throughout the school day as needed per IEP.
• Document daily data on student's activities, behavior and academics.
• Maintain compliance with school policies and professional conduct.
