Job summary

The Edmonds School District is seeking a Paraeducator IA to work in intensive learning support classrooms, including Pre-K and special education settings. Responsibilities include instructional support, material preparation, data collection, and behavior plan implementation.

Shift is 3.25 hours per day, Monday through Thursday, on a 181-day calendar. Non-continuing for the 2026-2027 year with a rate of $32.15–$36.06 per hour; candidates must meet education and PESB requirements and obtain

Qualifications

• Be at least eighteen years of age and hold a high school diploma or its equivalent.
• Must meet one of the following: associate degree or higher; 72 quarter credits or 48 semester credits at the 100 level or higher; completed an apprenticeship as a paraeducator; or a passing PESB approved assessment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with instructional support and supervision in various classrooms.
• Prepare educational materials and monitor student progress.
• Collect data and implement behavior plans.
• Collaborate with staff to support learning experiences.
