Intermountain Healthcare Inc. in Brighton, Colorado is seeking a Patient Safety Attendant (PSA) to provide continuous observation for high-risk patients and support the care team in maintaining a safe environment.

The role includes assisting with basic daily activities and ensuring patient safety during mobility and procedures. Responsibilities include maintaining line-of-sight at all times, reporting changes to the nurse, and complying with infection control procedures.

Formación

• Must have BLS-HCP certification at hire or within 60 days of hire with prior approval.
• One (1)+ year of experience working in a hospital setting preferred.
• Physical requirements listed: frequent standing, bending, lifting and pushing.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain continuous line of sight of the patient at all times.
• Accompany patient to tests or procedures and remain with them.
• Identify and report changes in patient status to the nurse.
• Document patient care activities during hand-offs.
• Follow infection control policies and mitigate ligature risks with the nurse.
