Saint Francis Hospital is seeking a Patient Safety Attendant (PSA) for a part-time, evening shift. The PSA will provide continuous observation of patients, including behavioral health populations, and will verbally redirect unsafe behaviors while coordinating with nursing staff.

Responsibilities include ADLs assistance, documentation, and ensuring patient privacy. This role offers the opportunity to work in a Level 1 Trauma Center within Trinity Health Of New England, with career growth

Qualifikationen

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS certification preferred.
• Prior hospital experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Provide continuous visual observation of assigned patients, including behavioral health populations.
• Verbally redirect patients from unsafe behaviors and notify nursing staff of concerns.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Document patient interactions and observations in medical records and handoff reports.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and participate in handoff communication.
• Respond quickly to changes in patient behavior or condition.
• Work with patients in isolation while maintaining proper precautions.
