Elliot Health System is seeking a Patient Safety Attendant (PSA) to provide focused 1:1 observation in the Adult Inpatient PSA Float Team. This per diem/part-time role supports cross-unit coverage with emphasis on patient safety and therapeutic engagement when appropriate.

The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and CPI certification within 3 months of hire. Prior healthcare exposure is preferred, with training provided on safety policies and procedures.

Qualificações

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: Previous healthcare setting experience preferred.
• Certification: CPI completion within three months of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain focused 1:1 observation of patients per policy.
• Promote patient safety and report concerns to nurse and relief staff.
• Accompany patients during diagnostic testing while maintaining observation.
• Do not engage in activities that distract from monitoring.
• Document observation checks and patient behavior as required.
