Qualifications

  • Ability to work with parents/administrators/teachers.
  • ABA training is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily instruction and activities for the assigned student.
  • Support toileting, diapering, transfers, hygiene, and health-related needs.
  • Assist school nurse with tube feedings and ABA-based strategies.
  • Maintain communication with parents and staff.
  • Collaborate with classroom teacher on lesson plans.
  • Provide de-escalation and safe handling as required.

Education

High School Diploma or GED
Forty-eight (48) Credit Hours of College Coursework or an Associate's Degree
Passing score on ParaPro or WorkKeys
