Job summary

Maltby Elementary in Monroe, WA, is seeking a Paraeducator – Specialized Instructional 1:1 support for a temporary assignment. You will assist a student with individualized needs under building supervision, following district procedures and safety guidelines.

The role requires meeting ESSA criteria, First Aid/CPR/AED, CPI and district certifications, and a flexible schedule with a 8:50–3:20 shift. Immediate start with reasonable start date guidance.

Qualifications

• Must meet ESSA requirements via one of: AA or higher degree; two years college with 72 credits; OSPI approved test; completed apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Assist instructional personnel with learning materials and programs.
• Support students with disabilities across a range of needs; reinforce learning activities.
• Tutor individuals and small groups; monitor and assist in drills and practice.
