Job summary

Legacy Concierge is seeking a dedicated caregiver to provide one-on-one non-medical care in a client's home, typically for 8–12 hour shifts. The role emphasizes personalized, client-centered support with a focus on safety, professionalism, and strong communication with the care team.

The position requires at least 5 years of caregiving experience, a valid CA Home Care Aide registration, and the ability to work independently in a private home setting.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of professional caregiving experience or equivalent
• Registered Home Care Aide in good standing (CA only)
• Proof of negative tuberculosis test/chest x-ray
• Ability to work competently in a 1:1 private care environment
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions when clarification is needed
• Strong communication, documentation, professionalism, and customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 personalized non-medical care in the client's home.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as personal care, transfers, bathing, dressing, incontinence care, reminder of medications, and hygiene.
• Assist with instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs) such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, transportation (if applicable), companion care.
• Complete daily care notes accurately and timely using agency systems.
• Communicate promptly with RN Care Ambassador or Client Care Coordination for status changes or concerns.
• Maintain a reliable schedule, arrive on time, and inform of scheduling changes per policy.
