Job summary

Cosmo is seeking a 1:1 tutor to deliver ESL instruction to students based in Singapore and Hong Kong, with flexible scheduling. You will conduct 50-minute, weekly sessions and maintain a welcoming, student-centered learning environment.

Role requires a Bachelor's degree, 3 years of K-12 teaching experience, and reliable internet. This independent-contractor position offers $20 USD per class plus incentives, with availability of at least 20 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required for eligibility to teach K-12.
• Three years of experience teaching grades K-12 ELA/ESL/EFL.
• TEFL certificate preferred but not required.
• Based in the United States or Canada with reliable internet.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1-on-1 instruction for students.
• Update availability in Cosmo App promptly.
• Prepare lesson materials suitable for age and ability.
• Submit feedback after each lesson(s).
• Communicate with parents and students professionally.
• Attend all classes on time in a professional setting.
• Collaborate with Cosmo staff as needed.
