Job summary

BehaviorCare Therapy is seeking paraprofessionals to provide 1:1 ABA therapy in clients' homes, focusing on daily living skills, communication, independence, and confidence through play-based techniques. This part-time role offers afternoon and evening hours, with consistent scheduling, training, and support from a BCBA.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children (SPED para, 1:1 aide or similar) preferred.
• ABA experience a plus to support play-based therapy.
• Afternoon/evening availability, weekends a plus.
• Reliable transportation to client homes for visits.
• Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children in their homes using play-based ABA techniques.
• Follow step-by-step treatment plans created by a supervisor (BCBA).
• Track progress during sessions using a simple data system on a phone or tablet.
• Collaborate with BCBA and other techs to maintain consistency and effectiveness.
• Provide feedback to families about session progress and celebrate wins.
